Special Guest Speaker: Dr. Charles Surrett
We are delighted to welcome Dr. Charles Surrett as our special guest speaker this Sunday at Anchor Baptist Church!
Dr. Surrett faithfully served the Lord in full-time ministry for 45 years, from 1967 until his retirement in 2012. During that time he served in multiple ministry capacities, and more recently, more than 20 years as Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, North Carolina.
In addition to his pastoral ministry, Dr. Surrett spent 28 years training future servants of the Lord, teaching Bible and pastoral courses, including homiletics and expository preaching. He also served as Academic Dean and Assistant to the President.
