God has given every follower of Christ a gift that is to be used to serve others. Any service for God is a great work, and every aspect of the work is just as important as the other. At Anchor Baptist Church there is a place where you can be used greatly for God.
We all need to work together, like a well conditioned army, for the gospel to be known in San Diego. The best way to get truly connected to a church is to serve. Here are some of our ministry opportunities where you can exercise your God-given gift to be used for His glory.
F.I.T.
F.I.T. stands for "First Impression Team."
This ministry offers a warm greeting to guests, answers questions, distributes visitor gifts, and connects you to the pastor and others in our church family.
Audio/Visual
Our sound and video technicians provide media support for the events that take place at Anchor Baptist Church. If you're knowledgeable with a sound board or computers, or even social media, this is an area of service in which you would thrive.
Music Ministry
If you have musical abilities, play an instrument, or can sing in an ensemble or small groups, God can use you in this area to enhance our worship services. Reach out to Pastor David to get started.
Kid's Ministry
If you love kids, seeing them learn, and watching them grow in the knowledge of Christ, then this is an incredible opportunity for you to invest in future generations. All of our children's and youth workers are quality servants and must all get a background check.
Outreach Ministry
Jesus told His disciples to pray for God to send laborers into the harvest field because they were ripe for the harvesting. Join us as we labor in our field of San Diego to plant the gospel of Christ in our communities on Saturdays at 10 a.m.
L.E.M.T
L.E.M.T. stands for Law Enforcement Ministry Team. We have great respect for our law enforcement officers and support them through thank you cards, baked goods, donated snacks and drinks, as well as praying for them.
